A meeting has begun in Harare in which Zimbabwe's Electoral Commission is to present candidates with initial results from last month's presidential election.
The presidential candidates are to be given the opportunity to compare their vote tallies with the official results. This comes a day after electoral commission sources said Morgan Tsvangirai of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change had taken at least 47 percent of the vote but less that the 50 percent needed to avoid a run-off.
