FIRST SET
Murray 1-4 Wawrinka
Muzza tries to gee himself up with a string of expletives. Wawrinka is the picture of calm though as he moves to 40-30 and makes Murray do some running in the process. The British number one reaches deuce but punches a reckless backhand down the line to hand Wawrinka advantage. A super smash takes him back to deuce. And up comes the third deuce, but he holds thanks to some big-hitting.
Murray 1-3 Wawrinka
Thanks Gilottil on 606, it is probably a good idea if we keep one eye on Nadal's match over on Centre Court too. Juan Carlos Ferrero has actually taken the first set from his compatriot 7-5. Meanwhile, Wawrinka gets his first break chance against Murray. The Swiss gets the break as he rushes in for a low drop-shot and passes the ball beyond Murray.
1751: "Let's hope Murray manages to beat Wawrinka, as I'd love to see how he gets on with Nadal."

Murray 1-2 Wawrinka
A bit of a subdued atmosphere amongst the spectators taking in some tennis during the early evening in Rome. Murray wields a tiny punched fist as he moves to 30-30. An acute forehand from the Scot skids wide but a decent return takes him to deuce. Wawrinka scuttles to the net to drop the ball over for advantage and wrongfoots Murray again to hold. A couple of stretches there for Murray leave him with twinges in his hamstrings but let's hope it's no more than that.
Murray 1-1 Wawrinka
Wawrinka makes some pretty good gets and Murray whacks the ball into the post to slide to an early deuce. A misjudgement from the Swiss hands Murray the game.
Murray 0-1 Wawrinka
A bit of rushed start to this live because of "technical issues" but here we are and all you need to know is that Wawrinka is serving and he looks solid so far. The Swiss player wraps up the first game and promptly goes and takes a glug of water.
Build-up
With the French Open just two-and-a-half weeks away, Andy Murray is looking to build up some momentum on clay at the Rome Masters.
It's the British number one's third event on the dirt this season and he probably won't mind me saying his form has been a bit hit and miss.
After beating Feliciano Lopez and Filippo Volandri in Monte Carlo he lost to Novak Djokovic in round three before crashing out to Mario Ancic in his first match in Barcelona.
Murray's into the second round in Rome, after Juan Martin Del Potro retired hurt in their match, and is now up against Stanislas Wawrinka.
They are pegged at 2-2 on head-to-heads, but Murray has beaten the Swiss world number 24 twice this year.
And if he does it again in Rome, there's only one problem - a certain Senor Rafael Nadal in the next round; and he's no good on clay is he?
