Kenya talks resume on key day ... government and opposition have submitted legal challenges to half the results of the country's March parliamentary elections.
The fresh challenges by the governing ZANU-PF party and opposition Movement for Democratic Change could alter the balance of power in the new parliament. A previous series of challenges confirmed that the opposition had ousted the government, winning 107 seats to 97. Zimbabwe's electoral court has six months to rule on the new complaints. The country's presidential poll remains disputed. Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai, who claims to have won the vote outright, has not indicated whether he will participate in a run-off against President Robert Mugabe.
