German Chancellor Angela Merkel has arrived in Peru, the second stop on her Latin America tour.
She is to meet with President Alan Garcia before taking part in a summit on Friday between European Union and Latin American countries. The gathering is expected to discuss poverty and climate change. The talks have been overshadowed by a row between Chancellor Merkel and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
