Czech ministry spends thousands for employees' relaxation-press ... protests. The student representatives today want to submit a petition against Julinek's plans that has been signed by hundreds of people to the Health Ministry. Julinek said he would meet university officials on Wednesday to discuss the issue and that student representatives would be welcome.
He said he wanted to explain his plans. Julinek will hold the next round of talks with representatives of students and universities on the future of teaching hospitals in Olomouc, north Moravia, on May 26. Julinek said students and university officials had misunderstood his plans. He said though universities would hold only 34 percents of shares in the university hospitals the state that would hold 66 percent would not be able to override their representatives in decision-making because the consent of two-thirds of the board would be necessary to make any decision.
