Somali pirates have seized a Dutch-owned ship as it travelled off the Horn of Africa.
A maritime official said the Amiya Scan was sailing on Sunday to Romania with a Russian and Filipino crew when it was hijacked. Software developers get tough on pirates ... France, Britain and the United States sent a draft resolution to the UN Security Council earlier this year that would give countries the right to arrest pirates in Somali waters.
