The United Nations nuclear watchdog agency says it remains seriously concerned that Iran appears to be hiding information about its nuclear programme.
For weeks the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has been pressing Iran to answer Western intelligence claims that Iran has studied high-explosive testing and missile activities. The IAEA says Iran still has 3,500 uranium enrichment centrifuges at its Natanz facility. Iran, which has repeatedly said it intends only to generate electricity, says the IAEA report shows no deviation toward a secret military programme. IAEA governors are to discuss the report next week. Since 2006 Iran has been subject to three United Nations sanctions, all demanding that it cease its nuclear enrichment. Iran-UN nuclear talks postponed ... Wales, said the United States and Russia each had 12,000 nuclear weapons, Britain and France had several hundred, and Israel had at least 150. Israel has never admitted their existence.
