AOL acquires Bebo social network ... Macedonians are set to vote in early parliamentary elections on Sunday.
The country's ruling coalition was in office for less than two years. It was divided over reforms and rights for the country's Albanian minority before it was dealt a final blow by missing NATO membership in March, when Greece blocked Macedonia's entry over a name dispute. A recent opinion poll gave Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski's conservative party about 31 percent compared to 11 percent for the main opposition party, the Social Democrats. Some 1.7 million people are entitled to vote in Sunday's election. The voting will be overseen by some 2,000 local and more than 460 foreign monitors.
