Former Arsenal midfielder Matthieu Flamini has been called into France's Euro 2008 squad following concerns over the fitness of captain Patrick Vieira.
Vieira, who has missed the last two warm-up games, sat out training on Friday with a suspected thigh injury.
Flamini, who will play for AC Milan next season, had been included in an initial provisional 30-man squad but did not make the final cut of 23.

"Flamini is arriving today at Clairefontaine (France's training camp) and is added to the 23-man squad," team spokesman Yann Le Guillard said.
Le Guillard added that no French player had pulled out of the squad to make way for Flamini, who will join AC Milan on 1 July from Arsenal, and he will fly with the squad to Switzerland on Wednesday.
