United Nations nuclear inspectors are to visit Syria later this month to investigate allegations that Damascus secretly built an atomic reactor.
The suspected site was destroyed in an Israeli air raid last September. After a meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, director Mohamed ElBaradei did not say whether Syria would allow inspectors to the al-Kibar site. ElBaradei again chided the United States for waiting until last month to provide intelligence that Damascus may have built a nuclear reactor.
