Max Mosley, the president of Formula One motor racing's governing body, the FIA, has won a confidence vote after a video sex scandal. In a secret ballot in Paris, member organisations voted 103 to 55 keep him in office.
Mosley had denied any Nazi connotations in recorded scenes. Nearly 20 member clubs had called for his resignation. Germany's ADAC, Europe's biggest automobile club, has responded to the vote by freezing its links with the FIA. The ADAC said its freeze would continue while Mosley remained president.
