Tsvangirai, leader of the Movement for Democratic Change, was arrested with key party figures after allegedly addressing an election rally without authorisation. Tsvangirai has said he's participating in the run-off election against President Robert Mugabe under protest, insisting he won an outright majority in the first round in March. Official results gave Tsvangirai 47.9 percent of the vote to Mugabe's 43.2 percent.
