US President George W.
Bush has arrived in South Korea for a two-day visit. His welcome is expected to be less than warm as thousands of protesters plan to voice their anger over an agreement to restart imports of US-beef. The deal sparked months of street protests because of fears that US cattle may be infected with mad cow disease. President Bush's talks in Seoul will focus on the US-South Korean military alliance, a planned free trade agreement and North Korea's nuclear weapons' programme. Bush will then be travelling on to China to Beijing to attend the opening of the Olympic Games.
