Russia says the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany have not agreed to impose new sanctions on Iran.
Moscow's ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, told reporters in New York that while the issue of sanctions had been raised, no firm agreement has been reached.
