United States Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama has chosen veteran Delaware Senator Joe Biden as his vice presidential candidate, according to US media.
Obama's campaign has yet to confirm the pick, but the official announcement is expected within hours. Obama and Biden are expected to make their first joint appearance together at an afternoon campaign stop Saturday in Springfield, Illinois.
