At the Beijing Olympics, Germany's Sabine Spitz has won the women's cross-country Olympic mountain bike race on Saturday taking Germany's medal tally to 15.
Germany secured the fifth spot in the medals table after winning three golds on Friday. Lena Schoeneborn won the women's modern pentathlon, and Germany took two golds, a silver and a bronze, in the kayaking competitions.
