Former US president Bill Clinton is to hold an address at the Democratic convention in Denver Colorada on Wednesday. On day three of the four day event, he'll be seeking to put aside months of hard feelings to support Barack Obama's bid to win the presidential race in November.
It's unclear whether a speech given by defeated primary rival Hillary Clinton on Tuesday persuaded enough of her supporters to throw their weight behind Obama. Many feel he should have selected her as his running mate and not the veteran senator Joseph Biden. He will also address the party faithful on Wednesday.
